DuraGen® Secure

For the Neurosurgeon, patients with compromised dural margins present a unique challenge. DuraGen Secure Matrix offers all the benefits of the DuraGen family of products, with an added cellulose microlayer that provides enhanced contact assurance for patients with compromised dural margins. Secure offers six times greater slip resistance than traditional collagen onlay grafts, even under repeated watertight closure can be achieved.

DuraSeal® Dural Sealant System, 5 mL

DuraSeal® is the cranial sealant that strengthens your repair and supports the body’s natural healing process. With demonstrated superior tissue adherence versus fibrin glue, DuraSeal is engineered for appropriate strength and optimal duration, even in high pressure areas such as posterior fossa. DuraSeal is indicated as an adjunct to sutured dural repair during cranial surgery to provide watertight closure. It is a polymer composed of two solutions, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) ester solution and a trilysine amine solution. When mixed together, these precursors cross link to form a hydrogel sealant that creates a quick and effective watertight seal that lasts both intraoperatively and through the critical healing period.
