Tristel Duo for Ophthalmology is a sporicidal disinfectant in a foam format, effective in only 30 seconds contact time. Using Tristel’s proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry,  it is designed for cleaning and high level disinfection of the semi-critical medical devices that come into contact with the ocular surface during ophthalmology consultations. Duo for Ophthalmology has been recognised as one of the most effective disinfection methods against hospital acquired infection and it has been recommended by the French Ophthalmology Guidelines which were published on the French Society of ophthalmology website at the beginning of 2011.

Duo ULT

Tristel Duo for Ultrasound combines cleaning with high-level disinfection in one simple process for the decontamination of intra-cavity ultrasound probes. Tristel Duo Foam is sporicidal.

Tristel Duo makes it possible to meet infection control guidelines for  ultrasound equipment such as those set out in the paper entitled “An investigation of the microbiological contamination of ultrasound equipment” published in The British Journal of Infection Control, August 2006, Volume 7, Number 4.

Duo for Ultrasound is ideal for the cleaning and high-level disinfection of invasive ultrasound probes including transrectal and transvaginal probes. Tristel Duo can also be used for ultrasound equipment such as monitors, keyboards and probe holders whenever the highest standard of decontamination is required, for example after contact with a known / suspected infected patient.

Tristel Trio Wipes

The Tristel Trio Wipes System is a practical and highly effective way to decontaminate and disinfect non-lumened medical devices, including those that cannot be fully immersed in liquid disinfectant or sterilant and cannot be sterilised by heat.  The System provides high-level disinfection in less than two minutes.  The Trio Wipes System is not intended for use on critical medical devices which must be sterilised prior to use on a patient. The Tristel Trio Wipes System comprises three types of wipes.

The Pre-Clean Wipe is a detergent wipe for removal of organic soil to prepare the medical device for high-level disinfection

The Sporicidal Wipe incorporates Tristel’s patented chlorine dioxide chemistry

The Rinse Wipe is impregnated with de-ionised water which will remove residues from a surface of the medical device that has been decontaminated

Tristel Fuse For Intstruments

Fuse for Instruments is a single-use disinfection solution for use with Stella Decontamination System.

Packaged in convenient, easy-to-use burstable sachets containing base and activator solutions, Fuse for Instruments produces a high-level disinfecting and sporicidal solution for medical devices, including instruments.  No counting, weighing or calculations are needed to make up a working solution at the right concentration.

By adding one activated sachet to five litres of water a chlorine dioxide solution is produced that will be sporicidal, mycobactericidal, bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal within a contact time of only 5 minutes.
